Which Lcd monitor is better and which one is more recent the samsung 244t or the samsung syncmaster 245bw?

Simply put, the 245BW is more recent but the 244T is better. You'll notice the 244T is more expensive. There is a reason. In addition to many more inputs, USB hub built in, etc., the 244T can pivot 90 degrees to allow a portrait view. It also uses a different type of panel, I believe, that experts seems to agree is better.

Would the average user notice the difference? I'm not sure. I've never seen them side-by-side. I just bought a 244T for $569 at newegg.com. They have the 245BW for $479. I believe for $90 difference, the 244T is probably better. The list prices for the two are much further apart.
