Make sure the door is wide enough for a wheelchair to comfortably pass thorugh, at least 36 inches wide and have the door swing outward instead of inward for easier accessibility. The bathroom should also have ample room inside for the wheelchair to turn around, a raised toilet with bars on either side and lowered fixtures like sinks and mirrors.
