What is the longest you can have your braces?

If you are having them checked regularly and taking care of your teeth, you can have them for a very long time. I worked in Orthodontics for many years and saw many kids go up to 6 years with them. If they have not been checked and/or you are not caring for your teeth, they should come off right away.
