How did the ankylosaurus interact with it's environment?

The ankylosaurus was an herbivore, so it interacted with plants by eating them, and also fertilizing the soil with its dung. They drank water and breathed the air. As for interactions with other animals, they were too formidable to be prey and were not hunters, so nobody is aware of any significant interaction between them and other animals.
