What he difference between sunrise and dawn?

Dawn is when it starts getting lighter in the morning - the first light or morning twilight. Sunrise is when the sun actually rises above the horizon line, and twilight is the period of time right in between, when you can still see the stars but the sun hasn't risen yet.
