Being ambidextrous refers to the ability to use both hands equally well, particularly in such things as writing, when one hand is usually used in preference.

It could have advantages in operating computers and typewriters and other devices where both hands are used. We are familiar with ambidextrous Baseball players who can alter their hitting posture to face different types of pitchers- and this does not violate any rules.
