Is the tawny owl carnivore

All owls are carnivores and are classed as Birds of Prey. The Tawny Owl's diet depends on an urban or rural habitat. But mainly small birds such as sparrows, thrushes, Blackbirds and starlings, rats, rabbits, moles, shrews, bats, mice and voles. In a city habitat, pigeons would be included.
