Put the bike on the center stand. Loosen the rear axle nut, remove the bolt and the spacer, then bring the caliper assembly out of the way and suspend it by a wire or thin rope. Next, take hold of the wheel and slide it off and away from the final drive. The rear wheel should now slide off the spline of the final drive. Too much air in the tire may prevent it from sliding easily past the final drive so let air out in that case. Coat the spline of the final drive with grease or a Moly 60 paste upon reassembly.
