Genital warts, an STD caused by some strands of human papilloma virus (HPV). It is spread through direct contact during oral, vaginal , or anal sex with an infected partner. Genital warts are the most easily recognized sign of HPV even though some people may never see a symptom. Women are more prone to not getting visible symptoms because the break-out occurs within the vagina. Men's most common symptom is genital warts which appear on or in the anal area, the base of the penis, the head of the penis, the shaft, and other dark, moist areas in or around the genital area. You won't definitely know if you have them until you see a doctor and you're told that is what you have. You can look on-line at pictures of early stages of them and compare.
