How do you use internet on an ipod touch 4 that's connected to a computer without wifi?

First thing first, you cannot use the usb connection to use internet on itouch. You need a computer that can do wifi OR have usb wifi dongle. You just need to have an internet sharing (in mac, you can just do it from system preferences>sharing>internet sharing).
