that's so simple the government controls the judges

Added: Perhaps in Ms. Rasheed's country the government controls the judges. However, in the US the judges are part of the Judicial Branch of the Government whose power is offset and equaled by both the Legislative Branch and Executive Branches of government.

In some states, judges occupy an elective office, and in those cases it can be said that the electorate (the voters) are also their 'bosses."
