The last year of his usage of alcohol and drugs was later in 1987. He also became "sober" meaning not doing the drugs or what addiction a person did be addicted to before. From late 1987 to 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan had a sober, peaceful life with a probable of juice and water drinks only.
