Why does your thermostat keep rebooting randomly?

My home thermostat kept rebooting randomly due to a loose connection in the wiring behind it. Try tapping or pounding on it to see if it reboots. If so, it is likely that a connection is loose in the panel behind the thermostat. This should be an easy fix for an electrician.
