Most deaths are preventable by good sanitation. Some people have said "there would be more dead people". In fact, we all die. You could argue that we would all be healthier, because those who would be susceptible to illness would die off. No kids. The remainder would survive. Pol Pot tried this in Cambodia. It wasnt pretty.
