Where was the lion the witch and the wardrobe made?

It was from a tree in The Magician's Nephew. Digory (the old man in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, when he was a lot younger) went to Narnia in that book when it was formed, and he brought back an Apple with him to heal his sick mother. They planted the seeds from the core and it grew into that tree. When it got old and died, he made it into a wardrobe.
