What is the history of the Riace warriors?

The Riace Warriors are two ancient Greek statues that were discovered off the coast of Riace in Italy in 1972. They date back to around 450 BC and are believed to represent Greek warriors or gods. The statues are considered masterpieces of classical Greek sculpture and are now on display in a museum in Reggio Calabria.
