Can your flower bulbs get wet before planting?

If you're not going to plant them immediately after they get wet, set them out in a sunny area to dry out. Leave space between them to let the air move around them. Turn them over so all sides can dry. The problem with wet bulbs is that they will get moldy and become unusable.
