Why are you hearing a rubboing noise from the rear of BMW e46 m3 when you lock hard?

Subframe Problems? It is a common and expensive problem on E46 M3's prior to 2003. BMW inspects it for free now due to a class action lawsuit. Might as well get it checked out.
