Well in my main opinion there is not to much humor to the story. It is mostly a story of all seriousness.
The humor is indirect and sophisticated for a bunch of "country people". Atticus uses humorous and satirical analogies to make many of his points.
The point of the humor is to make the reader (or viewer of the screenplay adaptation) to think about what is really being said, in undertones, inferences, and satirical humor.
