What do Golden Eagles eat?

Golden eagles will eat dead deer, sheep or live rabbits mostly rabbits, rodents and fish when available.


They prey on some larger animals such as foxes, young deer, lambs, and young goats. However, their main prey mostly consist of mice, rabbits, and marmots.
