I believe you can't and can. The reason i say this is because i personally fall into that category.the best thing to do is call your nearest dmv OCCUPATIONAL licensing office and have them verify whether it is still valid. fact is you can no longer work at a new car or franchised dealer since their insurance surety don't take risks insuring a bad driving record.Although the same applies to independent dealers, yet each independent dealer carries a different insurance company maybe the owner can somewhat have a extremely good relation with the insurance and pull it off to were your selling cars again.But remember that is ONLY if the owner has the ability to go out his way for you.other than that it is an honest mistake that we must deal with and look forward to other trades within the automotive field.
