Where are the banana leaves in virtual villagers 4 tree of life?

In Virtual Villagers 4: The Tree of Life, banana leaves can be found on the left side of the map, near the entrance to the jungle area. You need to have your villagers explore the area to uncover them. Once found, the banana leaves are used in crafting and solving various puzzles throughout the game.
