The best way to find Lilac bushes is to either take hard-wood cuttings from old growth or TRY to take out a "sucker" plant from a main plant? It's not easy, but with careful digging, one CAN get a "sucker" plant that might survive, depending on how you treat it, where you live, the humidity, the soil ... you name it!!
