Llamas farms are spread across the US and are your best option if you are looking for a great pet. Often you can find llamas at livestock sales in rural areas but purchasing this way you don't always know the llamas personality or how it's been treated. Llamas are large animals and not all of them make good pets or guards or pack animals. Buying from a reputable farm is the best way to get a healthy, well-behaved llama.
