Where is the paint code on a 1965 volkswagen bug?

It's on a little aluminum-foil sticker inside the luggage compartment--and after 44 years it probably has fallen off. If you had a 1970 (built after August 1969) there's a production plate in the front of the car that has the factory color code on it, but your car predates that.
