Can a dog and woman stuck together after mating?

This is referred to as a "tie". It does not guarantee that the female is pregnant. To insure that the breeding has taken most breeders will attempt a tie every other day through out the time that the female is in standing heat. This usually is a period of four to six days so you may get two or three ties out of one standing heat.
