yes found on most of the islands exept for the big island-Actually that is not true... The Big Island is home the endangered and endemic Hawaiian Hoary Bat, or 'Opeapea' (Lasiurus cinereus semotus). It is indeed the only terrestrial mammal native to the Hawaiian islands.
