Can dragon fruit be grow in the Phil?

Dragon fruit, also called strawberry pear, is the fruit of a cactus and originated in Mexico. From there it was transplanted in Central America other parts of the world. They grow very well in the Southeast Asian countries. It was recently introduced to the Philippines, where they are now growing dragon fruit commercially.
