In Greek mythology, Chaos is often described as the primordial void or the initial state of existence from which all things emerged. From Chaos came several primordial entities, including Gaia (Earth), Tartarus (the Abyss), Eros (Love), and Nyx (Night). These figures laid the foundation for the creation of the universe and the pantheon of gods. Therefore, while Chaos itself did not "give birth" in a conventional sense, it is credited with the emergence of fundamental elements and beings of the cosmos.
