How many miles can you go when the low fuel light comes on in a 1998 GM Sonoma?

Dont Know The Miles; But As Soon As You Can Get Fuel. If You Run With Low Fuel That Is Not Enough To Keep The Fuel Pump Cool ( in is in the gas tank & cooled by the gasoline that covers it) it can get too hot and go out. Costing Very Much To Replace. Hope This Helps

Answer: on mine if it is sitting dead on E you have about a mile and a half and you stop.
