What are facts about the djembe talking drum?

A djembe drum is a goblet shaped drum made out of a peice of wood and goatskin. It is supposed to be played with the bare hands. This drum comes from the west of Africa.
those drums you put between your legs and play with the your hands, there sort of in the shape of a hour glass (sort of) with a wood frame, brightly coloured or decorated with skin on top to make the sound. =0)
