Why the tiger population decline in India?

Mostly because their habitat is hugely decreasing from rainforest logging and also because of illegal poaching.

The numbers of Bengal tigers in India is on the increase. The latest survey showed nearly 1900 tigers, up from 1411 just five years ago!
