How do you get a stocking on harvest moon ds?

First you must befriend Nina till her fp(friend ship points) is 200. (for this part. it would help to have a love bangle which you can buy from the harvest Sprite tree)Then give her a ball of yarn and it will trigger a scene where Nina will knit the stocking and it will be pinned to the side of your house for the rest of the game.

NOTE: I have been told that you must go to her house on a clear afternoon.
