What does DHL stand for?

Dalsey, Hillblom and Lynn (founders of DHL Worldwide Express)

As an adjunct, ..... I worked for DHL in its world wide expansion of the mid to late 80's producing advertising and P.R. and was rewarded for good work by flying Concorde (on its daily courier flight to New York) ...... As few European staff even knew, pronounce or remember the founders names (Dalsey, Hillblom and Lynn) DHL became DAVE, HARRY AND LARRY, legend has it that they once sat on the beach in Hawaii wondering how to get 'their' surfboards back to the States,.... so DHL and the P.R. legend was born! ...... but did they ever surf?
