Spotted hyenas go through several life stages, including infancy, juvenile, subadult, and adulthood. In the infancy stage, they are born in litters and rely heavily on their mothers for nourishment and protection. As juveniles, they begin to explore their surroundings and interact with other members of the clan, while subadults start to assert their roles within the social hierarchy. Upon reaching adulthood, they become fully integrated into the clan, participating in hunting and breeding activities.
