What is the book wither about?

Wither is the first book in the Chemical Garden Trilogy. In the near future, a disease infects the people of North America and causes females to die at age 20 and males at age 25. The story picks up where Rhine is married off to a man named Linden and shipped away from her twin, Rowan. You also meet Gabriel (a servant at Linden's estate who quickly becomes Rhine's friend), Cecily and Jenna (Rhine's fellow "sister-wives"), Vaughn (Linden's father), Rose (Linden's wifr who lies on her deathbed), and and many others. I've read the book and would highly recommand to anyone and everyone:)
