Types of parallel lines

Parallel lines can be categorized primarily into two types based on their orientation: vertical parallel lines, which run up and down and never intersect, and horizontal parallel lines, which run side to side and also never meet. Additionally, in the context of geometry, parallel lines can be described as lines in the same plane that maintain a constant distance apart. They can also be found in different dimensions, such as in three-dimensional space, where they may not be confined to a single plane but still maintain a consistent distance.
