Definitely. I did it and was losing weight much faster. Whats great about it is that you know what you have to do and you can follow the rule easily. I found a book online called Fast 5 and it talks about picking five hours a day in which to eat-- say 5-10 at night. Thats the only time you can eat. This diet works great.
Other similar diets are Eat Stop Eat which just has you not eat one or two days a week.
