How did link meet Zelda?

Hey. My name is C-Bas. Worldwide Zelda expert. If you honestly have to ask this question, you apparently haven't even played the game. As any Zelda player knows, Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. And you, Link, are a boy who was sent to protect Hyrule. The way Link met Zelda was by either saving her or hearing the legend or story from her. Do you get it now?
