You can take an online course, and then sit for the credentialing exam of your choice. It only takes a few months to learn to code and do billing compared to about 2 to 3 years when you enroll it as a vocational course in some schools or universities. Compared to those schools and trainings, with online courses, you can finish the course at your own pace and you wouldn't have to worry about things like tuition fees (including school fees), transportation or gas money and hectic schedules. However, if you can't really focus on studying alone at home or if you can't focus on learning if there isn't any teacher or classmate to help you with different things in the field, going to study it the traditional way is still a good thing to do.
