What style would you call Beatrix Potter's drawings?

Beatrix Potter's images would fall under the categories of American Illustrations/tinted drawings. They are lovely line drawings,(usually of her bunny characters) lightly tinted by what appears to be watercolor, allowing large patches of white paper to show through.

Although American Illustration is itself a category that refers to the commercial application of the image, it has also come to refer to the look/style of the image as well.
