How are paramedics brave?

Paramedics are as brave as anyone else in any other job. It all depends on the individual paramedic how brave they are. Now their are certain risks that most professional in the medical field face that other career fields don't necessarily face on a regular basis. Risks like Tuberculosis, any blood borne diseases, and contagious diseases. Remember that they respond to people that could be seriously sick, and who knows what disease each person has. Bottom line their are some risk that they could face more than most jobs, but other than that they are as brave as any other person, some would be brave in certain situation were others wouldn't.
