Which is nicer male or female bernese mountain dog?

In my experience the females are nicer, the male in my case was not aggressive or anything but the females were more peaceful, quieter and loving. But there were 4 female dogs and 1 male dog so that could influence it. I have known a few Bernese where the females were reserved and cautious and the males were easy going and friendly. I think it depends on the individual personality of each dog, and the socialisation of them.
