How do you update firmware in nec DVD rw nd-2100ad CD-ROM drive?

Go to: http://support.necam.com/Optical/downloads/FlashFirmware/ download the firmware upgrade and follow the directions. The software is self installing. However, it likes the DVD drive to be in the MASTER position, not SLAVE.
