Where do sooty shearwater live?

Sooty shearwaters primarily inhabit the Southern Hemisphere, spending most of their lives over the open ocean. They breed on sub-Antarctic islands, such as those in the Falkland Islands, New Zealand, and Australia. During the non-breeding season, they migrate north to feed in the North Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. These birds are known for their long-distance migratory patterns, traveling thousands of miles between their breeding and feeding grounds.
