beagles can have 2 types of temperaments, excited: mostly when they see someone new or see a new dog- don't be afraid, they aren't crazy, just happy-

the second temperament is relaxed. they are very sweet and love everyone who is nice to them. the only thing you have to know is they will get a little crazy if you don't take they for walks at all
