What is communication outbound?

Communication outbound, or otherwise known as "Outbound communication" is where a company's sales reps contact prospects or leads through automated phone calls, emails and other marketing campaigns. Hence the expression "outbound" comes into play. If it were "inbound" then you have a business where existing customers call in for support, technical assistance or vice versa.
