Is the original mrs beasley doll rare?

Probably. The show they were used on- Family Affair , was NOT primarily a Juvenile show, having the adult actors Brian Keith and Sebastian Cabot as principals- and , of course the juvenile characters. The doll was not advertised on TV. Original was non-talking or conventional. Betty"s Attic currently markets a talking version in their catalogue, which is no more authentic, than say- a Ford Model T with Power Steering, unknown in the l908-27 production run! Mrs. Beasley was not as popular a character as say- Bugs Bunny or Mr. Ed both tooled up as talking stuffed toys and puppets.
