Is it really over when the fat lady sings?

contrary to widespread belief this is not actually known for a fact

all that is truly known is that it isn't over til she does

& indeed only when she finally does will it be truly known to be so or not

moreover if she sings

in a forest let say us

& there is nobody there any more to hear her because it is over

nor even any trees left to fall & be heard by anyone

then will she really have sung or they really have fallen at all
