What happens if cotton is incorrectly washed or handled?

If you wash anything incorrectly,not according to the instructions, you might just ruin it. To be on the safe side, always wash in cool water lay flat to dry. Wash seperately.Not sure what you actually did, or what you tried to wash just don't put in the dryer, it will be ruined for sure Good luck.
